Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and may close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house that has a combined gross household earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined home profits will not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the right Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected within their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are researching or intend to study at a general public university or more info TVET college here in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
